April 15-29 Home Routes Tour - Two week tour of house concerts from Prince George to Prince Rupert BC.
Looking forward to returning to Northern BC!! Could use a couple of shows along the way so let me know if your interested in having me play a concert in your living room or soft seat theater.
I'm booked this summer at the Thunder Bay Blues Festival, Live From The Rock's 10th Annual Folk Festival in Red Rock On. and at The Norseman Floatplane Festival in Red Lake On.
Rodney's Biggest Show He's Ever Done is set for October 19, 2012. The CD launch of "Fort William" with the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra will take place at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium! Hear Rodney Brown at his best backed up by one of Canada's best symphony orchestra's. A whole night of Rodney's songs with the TBSO based on the early history of his home town with a few surprises thrown into the mix! Tickets will soon be on sale!
I have two song sponsors confirmed for this new CD. Both sponsors are from the U.S. and my friends in Japan have also expressed interest in sponsoring a song. Hopefully I'll have a Canadian sponsor soon! Below are the details about how you can help make my new album a success. The first mixes are arriving and it is sounding awesome!!
The McGillivray Plaque Project is moving along! I now have enough money in the Plaque Fund to pay for my flight to London England to fulfill my quest and sing the Big Lonely beside his new burial plaque at St. James Church Piccadilly. Thank you for your donations. The City of Thunder Bay and Fort William Historical Park are talking to the church about how to arrange payment for the plaque as I write and as soon as the payment goes through the engraver will start the lettering. Very exciting and I will keep you posted!!
