Welcome Friends!

With 10 albums and thirty years of performing his songs across Canada and the UK Rodney Brown remains committed to his Northwestern Ontario roots. An award winning singer-songwriter Rodney relased celebrated the release of his new CD "Fort William" with a special CD Launch Concert at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium on Friday October 19, 2012.

Orchestrated by composer Lise Vaugeois Fort William features Rodney's historical songs accompanied by Music Director Arthur Post and the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra.  Performances include ceremonial songs by First Nation Drummers Thunder Mountain Singers, fiddler Pierre Schryer and piper Ryan Moore. The album is an evocative follow up to Rodney's well-received recordings North Land and The Big Lonely and the singer-songwriters most ambitious project to date. Fort William will detail the legacy of Canadian explorers, fur traders, country wives, voyageurs and First Nations peoples at the North West Company's headquarters on the Kaministiquia River over 200 years ago. The CD and launch concert mark a significant milestone in Rodney's career and is a wonderful way to celebrate community and our early roots during this unique time in Canadian history.
