The Songs of Fort William CD Release Concert was a great success. Researching Fort William's name sake has taken me on a wonderful journey and I'm so thankful for all the help I've received along the way. I was so happy doing the show with the TBSO to such a large enthusiastic audience in our beautiful concert hall. It truly was a dream come true. My next chapter on this ongoing journey is called "When I Return to Pennyghael". I'll visit McGillivray's new plaque during this tour and tentative plans are for a May 2013 trip.

Just booked another Home Routes Tour this time in S. Ontario in October of 2013. Looking for gigs on the way there and back so please let me know if you have any ideas.

Staying close to home after tearing my tendon about six weeks ago. The air boot cast is a little annoying but still proceeding with all the Christmas shows including Some Kinda Christmas Show at the TBCA on Dec. 16 and will resume visiting many class rooms through the Royal Conservatory's Learning Through The Art Program this winter. Lots of fun writing songs with young students and teachers!

Best wishes and happy celebrations, Rodney
