Rodney’s performances feature a suitcase full of songs and stories for all types of venues. He features songs from his recent CD’s while accompanying himself on guitar and sometimes the banjo and jaw harp. Rodney Brown is a lively and dynamic entertainer who draws people in with his evocative songs and musicianship. His performances have taken him across Canada several times and to the UK and American Upper Mid West.
The Big Lonely with the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra
This show highlights Rodney performing songs from his Big Lonely CD with one of Canada’s very best symphonic orchestras. Beautiful orchestral arrangements by composer Lise Vaugeois draw listeners in to an unforgettable journey through Rodney’s haunting historical ballads.
Children’s/Family Shows
Rodney still loves performing for children and often plays his popular kid’s songs to appreciative audiences at schools, festivals and events. With three high acclaimed children’s album Rodney is a veteran children’s performer who engages his young audiences at all times. With his child like humour and story telling Rodney has the ability to captivate audiences of all sizes.
Merry Christmas To You
Rodney’s Christmas concerts are in high demand and often see Rodney travel throughout Northern Ontario during the Christmas Season. He plays all the popular Children’s Christmas favorites as well as his own songs about Christmas Stars and the joys of giving for community groups and schools.
